Although attendance at the party, where guests used virtual avatars, was free, revenue was generated through the sale of virtual accessories from various brands, including Gucci.

Additional costs were incurred for exclusive experiences like taking a virtual dog to Paris Hilton’s house or enjoying helicopter and yacht trips, with some items costing as much as $350,000.

Hilton’s virtual avatar DJed at the party, and her involvement was made possible through a partnership with the gaming platform Roblox, where Paris World is hosted.

This trend of celebrities leveraging digital avatars for virtual concerts and events has also been adopted by U.S. rappers like Snoop Dogg, Lil Nas X, and Travis Scott.

Journalist Tali Fraser, who attended the party from London, shared her experience, including the process of participating in the event.

Guests interacted using their smart devices’ keyboards, with Hilton greeting all attendees.

Who is Paris Hilton?

Paris Hilton is an American media personality, entrepreneur, and socialite who became a global icon in the early 2000s. As the great-granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, she first gained notoriety as a leading figure in New York’s social scene before achieving mainstream stardom with the hit reality TV show The Simple Life. This show, alongside her “It Girl” persona, made her one of the most photographed and discussed public figures of the decade, establishing her as a foundational influence in modern celebrity and “influencer” culture.

While initially perceived as a socialite, Hilton strategically leveraged her fame to build a formidable business empire under her company, 11:11 Media. She launched a highly lucrative fragrance line, expanded into a global network of retail stores for fashion and accessories, and became one of the world’s highest-paid celebrity DJs. In recent years, Hilton has also transitioned into a prominent advocate, using her platform to campaign for legal reform and institutional oversight of the “Troubled Teen Industry,” stemming from her own traumatic experiences detailed in her documentary, This Is Paris.
